This... was supposed to be the cover for the 250 mark, but since that fell in the middle of Such Stuff as Dreams Are Made On, I kind of forgot about it. (It was completed sometime in December. If you want some kind of idea about how long I was working on these, back in December we were only just starting the Sick!Jareth arc, and it had not yet been revealed that Mrs. N was totally in the know.)

So, Six months later, here's a filler cover. Back to work on the biiiiig project. I'm combining the next cover with the anniversary celebration image, because it's just that much work.



Erlkönig is a mythological character and belongs to everyone and no one.
Mrs. Norrington is, to my knowledge, mine.

I don't. I obsessively ship these two. :meow: Even if this is definitely a Mind Game Ship of the evenly matched variant. Oh, the beautiful games they will play from Xanatos Speed Chess to Gambit Pileup. :love: (I can so see them keeping score.)

He doesn't really know what love is. (He himself admitted this to his ex in Such Stuff. And to be captain obvious fae aren't human.) From his point of view he is playing with a human woman (and messing with his son's life)... Only he found his match as Mrs. N. is willingly playing with him too (as she figured him out long ago). She is out of a bad (probably arranged, loveless and dull) relationship so her motivation is FUN. :D
