All the lovely. And may I just say that I have finally FINALLY gotten around to watching the Les Mis musical (like, fifteen times, not even joking here, with four different casts), and now I have plans to read the Brick this summer with my best friend in RL and I love love love love love Eponine and thousand times more now that I actually know who she is.

Also, the freaking details in their costumes. So so so so gorgeous.

I think I have said this before, but I can't help it, ever since the sea was unleashed on the Labyrinth a little voice in my head has been screaming: RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!

I'd just love to see the 'good' witch of the North click her heels on that one.

Am so enjoying this arc.

Meh, I wasn't so impressed by Calypso. I just have this amusing image in my head of Glinda's boat getting abruptly eaten out from under her. I bet AsheRyder could put quite the expression of surprise on her face.

But she technically IS the sea. Remember when Barbossa was talking shit to her and she's like: Don't start this shit with me, boy and started to turn him all skeletal and stuff again.

She's so powerful and like...ugh. xD I don't know I guess I am just a HUGE Tia Dalma/Calypso fan.

Yeah, but I feel the we didn't really get the payoff the seemed to be building up to with Calypso. We're going to release the goddess of the sea! Okay so now she's a giant poorly done special effect...now she's a bunch of crabs...and now she's a whirlpool. *shrug* Guess that's all folks. I found her much more intriguing as a mystic witch lady, and while they interactions between her and Davy Jones was interesting it went nowhere (the writers' fault not the character's, I know, they seemed to forget about her after they whirlpooled her - you'd think there'd be some reaction to Davy's death, mad at him or not, but...nope).

Also, I feel she could be too story breaker to show up here - which is probably why the writers turned her into a whirlpool, dangerous but neutral - though who knows, AsheRyder might have a plan that accounts for that.

But hey, to each their own, you can root for Calypso and I can root for Kraken (possibly even undead Kraken!), or hey, maybe we'll get Calypso riding Kraken, with AsheRyder who knows?

...now I want to ride a Kraken (with appropriate scuba gear, of course). ;p

I know, I'm evil, I'm sorry. I am suffering from a terrible condition called Museus Neglectitis, it causes the sufferer to have the most random thoughts. I really ought to do something about it. ;p

Perhaps if we look at AsheRyder with puppy-dog eyes?

Release the Calypso riding Kraken!...or would that be the Kraken riding Calypso? XD

We need some theme music for this. I suggest a combination of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" soundtrack, some songs from "Muppets Treasure Island," and maybe some ACDC's "Thunderstruck" (because that song is just awesome).

On another note, this was a very nice update. James is making preparation by delegating appropriately and the comment about nonlethal traps made me smile because some accidents are bound to happen. Even if the main group avoids them, a goblin or two are bound to step into one.

Nice work.
