Arguably my personal favorite of the Roommates collection; this one probably also marks the most... detailed work... and art techniques I don't usually have the attention span for. Perspective, yay. Not. Extensive hatch shading. Something about this one just stuck with me. It's also one of the ones where I finally got the pen nib I was using to start working really well -- right until I dropped and bent it.
I'm aware that, besides being really cruddy weather, tornados and hurricanes don't look very much alike (except, perhaps, from a distance), but I'd wager that anyone whose livelihood was as dependant on weather as Norrington's would manage to recognize the signs of Very Bad Storm. Also, finally get to use that lovely bellowing voice of "FOLLOW MY ORDERS NOW" that he has... Erik belongs to Leroux and Webber. Jareth belongs to Henson, Lucas, and Bowie. Norrington belongs to Disney, Bruckheimer, and Davenport. Javert belongs to Hugo, Boublil, Schonberg, and Kretzmer. |
