After this, Erik broods and does not come out of his room until the performances are finished. The others keep a pretty close eye on him, but there really was no need; heavy duty brooding happened here.
Interestingly enough, a friend and I discovered that, despite the format of Labyrinth's storyline... there were really very few, if any, lessons learned. You'll have to ask said friend for better analysis, though.
