In which some goblins came to dinner.
Jareth belongs to Henson, Lucas, and Bowie.
Norrington belongs to Disney, Bruckheimer, and Davenport.
Socks and Slump are Jareth's, but the design is supposedly mine.
In which I fall more & more in love with James
My question is whether or not Jareth actually attended this dinner, considering he wouldn’t have been in the most… amiable mood, shall we say. What with fae jealousy and all since his subjects listened to someone else. >> Also, might I ask who else was in attendance? Or were all the extra plates set for goblins?
Lol, poor Jareth...I sense another complex in the making...
Also, I doubt you need to hear it from me, but you're still doing an awesome job!
Also, I have really enjoyed seeing the improvement and progression in your drawing/inking styles through the years. Keep up the good work!
Adorable. SO cute.
Also, may I say that Jareth's hair is rather fabulous here?
That's when it dawned on me that your Jareth is a lot like Mr. Toad: more showy personality, kind of self-involved, but great fun. (Though the other characters sometimes have to exert force and make him behave for his own and everyone else's good!)
Now that leaves me wondering how the other part of the quartet lines up. I suppose Erik would have to be Mr. Rat, who loved "messing about in boats" (boat under the Paris opera, anyone?) and Jamie would be Mr. Mole, gentle and easygoing most of the time.
I've been chuckling over this realization for the past few minutes, and I'll certainly never see The Wind in the Willows the same way again!
Why is he surprised? Sarah keeps making them act nicely, this was the obvious next step.
