Here's a couple of vocabulary words that explains my interpretation of their relationship.:

This means:
1.) They are in a relationship because of the connection and shared history between them, both A.) in the book/musical/movies and here in the comic, which takes place outside of canon.

2.) They are not doing anything in the comic that is going to throw the rating up to Mature. There are perfectly healthy relationships that do not require that kind of interaction for both parties to be happy.
If that's not your thing, it's not going to be forced down your throat; that's not what this relationship is about. That said, kindly keep any orientation bashing, ageism, and flames out of the comments. Thank you.

If you don't mind explaining, what makes this pairing work for you? How do you think that these two could actually come to care for each other- or, as this is your comic-verse, how did it happen?
