In which the artist copied the lyrics off a lyrics reference site, and therefore hopes to not be held accountable for any misspellings or poor grammar by anyone who actually speaks French,
In which the French guys have a little disagreement.
So, there's this movie. Called "Un Monstre a Paris", with little accents that my keyboard won't type, or "A Monster in Paris". It came out in France about a month ago, and hopefully will come out other places sometime in the near future, because I'm too poor to travel. It's bloody adorable, and it's like a giant mash up of Things We Love. (Good music, animation, masks, mystery, etc.) I have only a little bit to go on, because as you all can probably tell, I'm not in France and don't speak French. But there's this REALLY catchy song called "La Seine", which is about loving that river and what Erik is singing here. Yes, it's *that* Seine, as far as I can determine. Look it up on your preferred video streaming site.
Incidentally, it seems the lyrics change very slightly in the English version. Any bilingual people verify this?
Erik is dressed as one of the characters from the movie who sings that song, which is why I included my arch nemesis, the hat.
Erik belongs to Leroux and Webber.
Javert belongs to Hugo, Boublil, Schonberg, and Kretzmer.
"La Seine" belongs to Paradis and -M-. (as near as I can tell)
