In which we are reminded that, Orlando Bloom and opinions about the poofiness of elves aside, Legolas *is* an immortal warrior and scout who managed to survive in Mirkwood, and therefore is accustomed to things suddenly trying to bite him.
Why yes, Jareth's magic has gotten stronger... and vaguely reminiscent of someone else, hasn't he...
Jareth belongs to Henson, Lucas, and Bowie. Legolas belongs to Tolkien.
Hooray for heroic elves and their survival skills! Leggy, I love you to bits and pieces, even though it's not romantic love; you, Elrond, and the rest of your pointy-eared buddies gave me my taste for elves, great and small, trickster, benevolent, and malevolent alike. You can sit this one out, Jareth. Legolas is more than capable of handling this on his own, even though you have seniority by how old your movie is.
For some reason, I imagine that Thranduil and Erlkonig are like... half brothers or something and that means Legolas and Jareth are cousins, so it gives different meaning to this particular comic... geeze. I am weird. :/ <_<
They just seem so alike that it's uncanny. I keep having to remind myself that it's not Thranduil whenever Erlkonig pops up in the comic. Thranduil is so perfect in the movie rjgdfvnr, I cannot wait for his perfection to grace your beautiful comic. ^_^
