In which one tasteless joke is barely avoided in exchange for another one,

In which the political views of the characters are by no means shared by the artist. (I swear I have nothing against the French, I just can't let go of a running gag that last appeared what, 130 comics ago? French fans, please forgive.)
Currently debating putting up a mini interlude for the slash fans who were so excited by last week's comic. Thoughts?
Sarah belongs to Henson, Lucas, and Connelly.
Javert and Valjean belong to Hugo, Boublil, Schonberg, and Kretzmer.
Mrs. N is still probably mine, though her anti-French tendencies are purely her own.

One has to wonder if the French have their own equivalent. Probably the A Word (Anglais).
