Will start just around the first day of spring. I did not plan this. (I intended it to start with the new year, but I suppose no one's perfect.) That's just how it falls with the spacing of the pages.

The timing is... oddly suspicious, all things considering.

Enjoy the arc until then.

Tumblr has a new meme going around with inappropriate audition songs and somebody posted this one: broadwayiswheremusictakesfligh…

It immediately made me think of Roommates #27.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought of Roommates when I saw that post! :D

Hey Ashe, so my friend and I wandered onto the topic of Roommates while we were on the phone tonight, and what essentially resulted from this was a Roommates Welcome to Night Vale au. My question is a) are you familiar at all with WtNV, and b) would you have any interest in seeing such an idea developed further?

I'm vaguely familiar with WtNV; I heard the first ep, but just couldn't really get into it {I have a hard time with podcasts}.

HOWEVER

I'd love to see what you guys came up with. I hope you have fun with it!

{I'm passing familiar with some of the basics. It passes through my circles, so I see bits and pieces of things pop up from time to time.}

Here are actually two pieces based on your comic: bookwormgal.deviantart.com/art… and bookwormgal.deviantart.com/art…. The first was inspired by Page 61- "Lundi" while the other was inspired by Page 475- "Call Out." I hope you'll like them.

You're welcome. If I had time and more talent at drawing, I'd do a whole story arc I've already planned out. But it was hard enough making these two comics look half-decent (I mostly used a lot of your comic pages for drawing reference and I still struggled). So if you're ever curious about what I came up with, I'll be happy to tell you about it. But you'll never see it in comic form...

I hope you don't mind, but I working on a little something based on your awesome comic. I don't have the time or artistic skill to make a long spin-off similar to "Girls Next Door" (which is also fun to read). I do have an interesting arc plot already worked out in my head (I'm better at stories than visual arts) and everything, but I know my limits and I know I wouldn't be able to draw it out like how it is in my mind. So I'll stick to a short piece dedicated to your amazing and inspiration comic. It should be posted sometime around the second week of February (I have to wait until I can access a scanner). I'll give you all the credit you deserve, of course.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy this comic. The artwork, the characterization, the world-building, the clever use of foreshadowing, and the unique balance of different genres just make this entire piece of work unlike anything else I've ever seen and a fun experience. Not to mention the clear dedication you have to this story since you've been working on it for years. It is simply inspiring and thought-provoking. Never doubt for a minute that people love your comic. Because we absolutely do.

Thanks very much! I'm glad you've enjoyed the comic enough to inspire you. Best of luck with your project. I look forward to seeing it!
